Kara will play (and sing) during the silent auction bidding hour and
"last chance" bidding time of this Gala Fundraiser for Foothills Preganancy Resource Center. It will be held in the
baquet room of beautiful Capistrano's restarant in Arcadia.

Highlights of her sets will be Mvt. 1
from Mozart's Vienese Sonata No. 1, Cousineau's Rondo de Cardon, Latour's Sonata in C, Tournemire's Variae Preces, as well
as a variety of world music, Japanese, Irish, and ancient Persian pieces. She will also sing several selections including
"Solitude" Pauline Garcia-Viadot's french street song with dramatic Spanish gypsy flavor.
10/11/09 - Special Event
Kara will sing "God So Loved The World" from Stainer's oratorio
by special request.
10/4/09 - Private Luncheon
Kara will play Harp for a luncheon (selections will include the pieces played
on 9/24)
9/24/09 - Bethany Towers
Kara will give a concert that compares and contrasts formal
pieces with popular pieces from various musical time periods:
Early music: O Bone Jesu - Palestrina, Adoramus Te Christi - Ignoto
Renaissance: O Bone Jesu - Grancini, White Flowers - Negri
Baroque: Awakening of the Lilies - Couperin, Le Voix Humaine - Lasceux
Classical: Vienesse Sonata Mvt. 1 - Mozart, Minuette - Pleyel
Romantic: Etude - Bochsa, Solitude - Viardot

Kara will sing Faure's beautiful "En Prier" accompanied by the
marvelously talented organist and pianist U Jung Jung.
8/23/09 - FPCH 9:30 Classic Service
Kara will play (on harp) her arrangement of Tournemire's "Variae
Preces: Cing Versets" (Varous Prayers: Five Verses). This is an impressionistic piece, with each of the first four verses
completely different, then the closing verse combines all the previous themes.
7/13/09 - Bethany Towers
Kara will play an hour of varied music for the residents of this
Senior Living Facility, as part of their programmed acitivities.
7/12/09 - Demonstration
Kara played "Sonata in A minor" by Domenico Cimarosa and her
own arrangement of "Simple Gifts"
6/19/09 - Liebshardt wedding
Kara will play a prelude program of light & pretty mixture
of international waltzes, jazz ballads, and more traditional wedding pieces.
6/14/09 - Garden Reception
Kara plays a mixture of light classics, hymns, and dance music from the
Baroque period up to the current day.
5/11/09 - Memorial
Kara played background music during a luncheon reception after a Memorial
service. A total of about two hours.
5/7/09 National Day of Prayer Service & Concert
Kara is coordinating the music for the Concert portion of this
event with musicians and speakers of regional, national, and international acclaim! Kara will play harp and accompany Dacie Yobp on an Irish folk aire on lap harp & playing
recorder in a trio.
